All our beds and mattresses are manufactured in the UK.

For the time being we only sell the bed and mattress. In the future we plan to offer mattress protectors, pillows and bedding.

From ordering one of our beds delivery takes 8 weeks. Each of our beds are made to order. If you order a mattress with a bed then we will deliver both at the same time. A mattress delivery on its own will take 3 weeks.

Our beds come in double, king and super king sizes. The dimensions are given below:

Double: W149 L207 H44 (cm)

King: W165 L220 H44 (cm)

Super king: W195 L220 H44 (cm)

Our king and super king beds have split bases to give you the ability to move both sides of the bed independently and as such they require two sets of motors. Our double beds just need one set of motors as both sides of the bed move together.

Due to the width of the beds our king and super king beds need to have two motors which means you can move both sides independently. However, we can configure your bed to always move both sides at the same time if preferred, so that you can use a normal full size mattress instead of two singles (split mattresses).

Mode Beds are so much more than a normal bed! Mode has a high quality adjustable base, massage, lighting, the latest in comfort technology, USB chargers and you can control it all from the free Mode App. On top of that our beds are premium and super strong as they have been designed around lifestyle.

Yes, there are plenty of other mattresses which can be used with the Mode bed. You need a mattress which is compatible with an adjustable bed so you will need to check with the mattress manufacturer. We can provide some guidance if required, just contact one of our team at hello@modebeds.co.uk. If you use a mattress which is not compatible it could invalidate your warranty.

No, we offer a 14 day returns policy for the bed.

The 40 night sleep trial only applies to the mattress to give you some more time to get used to a new mattress.

We have not undertaken any specific tests or studies and our bed is not designed as a medical device. However, benefits associated with adjustable beds include: reduced back and neck pain (improved support), improved digestion (option to not sleep flat), increased circulation and assistance in sports recovery (raising legs), reduced snoring (through opening up of airways in an inclined position).

Mode has not undertaken any specific tests or studies and our bed is not designed as a medical device. Sleeping on an adjustable bed allows you to choose a position that more closely matches the contours of your body and so you can feel better supported. Mode can also support you in different positions which can reduce strain on your back and neck.

Mode Bed contains; dual USB chargers on both sides of the bed, an adjustable base, massage, under-bed lighting and the ability to control it all from our handy app.

Mode Bed can support up to 22 stone for a double bed (combined weight of sleepers) and 22 stone each side for a king or super king bed.

Yes, our 2 man delivery service will be happy to take your old bed and mattress away. Please select this option at the checkout, there is an additional charge of £55 for this service.

We know it can sometimes take a while to get used to a new mattress and so we offer a sleep trial of 40 nights for you to truly get comfortable. During the 40 night trial you can return your  mattress for a refund, but we do charge a £49 administration fee to go towards returning and recycling the mattress. We ask that you use your mattress for 30 nights before returning as it does take time to get used to a new mattress. Only one. Our mattress has been specifically designed to move with the Mode Bed. We worked with mattress experts to develop a mattress that not only provides maximum comfort but will support you in any position.

Absolutely! Our mattress is a premium memory foam mattress which will work with any type of bed. Of course we would suggest you try it with the Mode Bed for maximum enjoyment.

Yes, using a mattress protector is fine. For help with sizing please refer to the bed sheet sizes below for guidance.

We offer a third party 5 year warranty on our mattresses through Homeserve and they insist on the use of a mattress protector as part of their warranty.

We recommend using fitted bed sheets on an adjustable base to hold them in position.

Double: standard fitted double bed sheets are fine, 135 x 190 (cm).

King (split): If you are using a split mattress (two singles) you will need two long small single fitted sheets, two 75 x 200 (cm) fitted sheets.

King: For a full size king mattress (not split) you can use a standard king size fitted sheet, 150 x 200 (cm).

Super King (split): If you are using a split mattress (two singles) you will need two long small single fitted sheets, two 90 x 200 (cm) fitted sheets.

Super King: For a full size super king mattress (not split) you can use a standard super king size fitted sheet, 180 x 200 (cm).

Delivery of your Mode Bed and Mode Mattress is free. We will deliver the bed and mattress at the same time if ordered together.

Yes, someone will need to be to accept delivery. We will deliver your Mode Bed to your room of choice and assemble it for you.

No don’t worry our delivery team is trained to build your bed in your room of choice.

We offer a 14 day returns policy for the Mode Bed. Please note we do charge a £90 administration fee for bed returns to help towards some of the costs of dismantling and returning the bed.

We offer a 40 night sleep trial for Mode Mattress. During this period we will collect the mattress subject to a £49 fee which goes towards returning and recycling the mattress.

Simply contact us at hello@modebeds.co.uk  within the eligible timeframes and we’ll arrange collection and a refund.

Where possible we recycle any returned mattresses.
